TOKYO MOTOR SHOW 2019  OPEN FUTURE

Tour of the Tokyo Motor Show Guided by AJAJ

Paid tours guided by the Automotive Journalists Association of Japan (AJAJ) will be conducted to allow participants to experience the show and see the displayed vehicles from the perspective of a professional auto journalist. To participate, purchase an AJAJ-Guided Tour ticket online through the Official Online Ticket Service (etix). Due to popular demand, the maximum number of participants for the tour has been increased from 1,350 in 2017 to 1,920 for 2019, an increase of 570. Participants will be able to listen to the tour through the provided wireles headsets.

Program Details

Dates Oct. 25 (Fri.), Oct. 28 (Mon.) – Nov. 1 (Fri.) (6 total days)
Tour held 4 times per day at the following times; 10:00 – 12:00, 11:30 – 13:30, 14:30 – 16:30, and 16:00 – 18:00
Note: First 2 tours on Oct. 25 (Fri.) (10:00 – 12:00 / 11:30 – 13:30) will be conducted during the Preview Day.
Number of Participants (estimate) 1,920 people (5 groups per timeframe, with 16 people per group, and 4 tours per day over 6 days)
How to Participate Tickets will be made available for purchase starting September 19, through the Official Online Ticket Service (etix) on the Tokyo Motor Show’s official website.
Note: Supply is limited for AJAJ-Guided Tour tickets.
Participation Fee Preview Day (Oct. 25 (Fri.), tour #1 and #2): ¥4,500 (Admission ticket (¥3,800) + ¥700)
General Public Days (Oct. 25 (Fri.), Oct. 28 (Mon.) – Nov. 1 (Fri.), tour #3 and #4): ¥2,800 (Advance-purchase ticket (¥1,800) + ¥1,000)
