With “Believe There’s Got to Be a Car that Makes Your Life Better” as the concept of its booth, Subaru communicates its conviction to make the customer’s life richer through its entire booth and exhibited car models with a powerfully realistic attractiveness. There are seven models on display, including the new Levorg prototype making its world debut at the Tokyo Motor Show. The new Levorg prototype involves all of Subaru’s cutting-edge automotive technologies. It is a Subaru car that, at a time when autonomous driving keeps advancing, aims to help bring a future when anyone can fully enjoy driving at will. The EJ20 horizontally opposed engine, Subaru’s central-force engine for a long time, is about to retire within this fiscal year. To mark this milestone, Subaru exhibits the WRX STI EJ20 Final Edition, a special specifications vehicle featuring this engine at its best. Subaru also exhibits the XV Advance and the Forester Advance equipped with the e-Boxer, a power unit that combines the company’s unique 2.0L direct-injection horizontally opposed engine and its advanced electric drive technology. In fact, the Subaru booth where these vehicles are displayed itself expresses the power and innovativeness of the e-Boxer. Also on display making Subaru’s booth even more exciting are diverse models including the Impreza Sport 2.0i-S EyeSight, now featuring a revamped front face and equipped with the latest EyeSight as a result of the major changeover in October 2019, as well as the SUBARU VIZIV Adrenaline Concept that debuted in the 2019 Geneva Motor Show and the SUBARU BRZ GT300 2019 that continues to compete fiercely in Super GT.
