: SUPER GREAT has achieved Japan’s first level two automated driving with “Active Drive Assist,” which enables the vehicle to control acceleration, braking, and steering using a hydraulic power steering system equipped with an electric motor. Other features include “Active Brake Assist 5 (ABA5)” with improved pedestrian recognition, an intelligent headlamp control (IHC) system that recognizes oncoming vehicles to automatically control lighting, and a traffic sign recognition function designed to recognize and indicate traffic signs on the instrument panel. The new SUPER GREAT with greatly enhanced safety performance will support Japan’s logistics infrastructure.

: AERO QUEEN features upgraded safe-driving support functions with more advanced safety technologies, including “Active Side Guard Assist,” the first safety feature introduced to large coach buses in Japan to assist safe driving by monitoring the driver’s blind spots on the left side; the “Emergency Driving Stop System” designed to automatically stop the vehicle in the event of a problem with the driver; and “Active Brake Assist 4 (ABA®4),” the collision mitigation braking system with a pedestrian detection function. AERO QUEEN also mounts the BusConnect® function that supports the management of real-time bus operations through remote connection to improve driver safety and efficiency.

: The light-duty ROSA tour bus equips remarkably enhanced safe-driving support functions using cutting-edge safety technologies that include an advanced emergency braking system (AEBS) to mitigate collision damage, an electronic stability program (ESP)®* designed to detect vehicle position and control stability during a potential side slip or rollover in a curve, and a lane departure warning system (LDWS).The 2019 ROSA also promotes new special packages specifically designed for sightseeing enjoyment, offering five types of interiors as well as high-class illumination equipment using LED line lights to provide passengers with a more comfortable and luxurious riding experience.
