This is a Goodyear's concept tire developed especially for Lexus concept car. Goodyear uses knowledge in Aerodynamic tires to drive air to cool down the EV motor. Tire design (combination of Tread design & Cavity shape) contributes to an effective air flow which on one side reduces aerodynamic drag and on the other side improves EV motor air cooling.

The “New Construction Brake Calipers” that have been developed to meet specific requirements for automobiles that use electric power sources and to be friendlier to the global environment will be exhibited for the first time.
The material for this brake caliper is aluminum, with which weight reduction of up to 30% was realized. This lightweight construction contributes to lowering the vehicle’s fuel consumption. Furthermore, uneven wear of the brake pads can be reduced to 1/5 of existing products. This revolutionary product also takes into consideration adaptability to different automobiles, as well as visually appealing design.
In addition to an electric parking brake using this new construction structure, an electric parking brake and an electric service brake will also be exhibited for the first time.

360-degree videos Human Detection

This algorithm detects human figures in the 360-degree video footage recorded on d’Action 360 S.
Human detection has been made possible by a deep-learning process that matches the fish-eye 360-degree lens footage to a massive library of reference data. Detected human figures can be pixelated for privacy protection or transformed into personalized stamps and emojis for posting on social media.

d'Action 360 S Roof Rack Attachment

This is a dedicated attachment for mounting d'Action 360 S onto a vehicle's roof, enabling you to capture 360-degree video footage from around the car.
Both stability and usability are maintained with the use of a roof carrier below this attachment and the d'Action 360 S camera, making it perfect for mounting on the leading car in a marathon or bicycle race to capture events as they unfold.

For business : 360-degree Drive Recorder Driving Safety Support System

Currently, under development, this B2B data-based service aims to help businesses prevent car accidents using data recorded on d’Action 360.
Data from cars with the camera installed is collected and used to extract traffic violation incidents such as speeding.
Besides, by linking with vehicle driving records, this service can be used to provide drivers with advice regarding safe driving.

Connected Base

This Connected Base is a car-mounted unit used for integrating your car accessories with IoT (Internet of Things) technology.
Integration with IoT allows for a wide range of applications, such as allowing for the remote monitoring of vehicle conditions, consumables, and more.
Wiring is only required to supply power to the base. With a continuous supply of electricity, devices can connect using BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy), eliminating the need for further wiring.

Connected 360-degree Sensor

This optional 360-degree Doppler sensor links with the Connected Base to detect any movement within the vehicle’s surroundings in all directions.
Imagine your car is approached by a suspicious-looking person while parked in a remote, outside lot. The sensor will detect their movement through the Connected Base, and send a notification to your smartphone informing you of potential imminent danger.
Research is currently underway regarding linking d’Action 360 to the sensor, and using it to record and store video footage.

Connected Starter

By working in conjunction with the Connected Base, this remote engine-starter app can overcome the distance limitations of conventional specific low-power wireless communication and can be used within a much higher range.
As long as your car and a smartphone remain within the communication range, you can turn on the ignition remotely using the smartphone app from wherever you are.
In addition to starting/stopping the engine and checking its running status, the app also allows you to lock/unlock your car's doors and check their closed status, measure the inside temperature, and check the vehicle's position using GPS positioning, simply by using your smartphone!

Connected Security Alert

This alert system keeps the operation of genuine (factory) security devices, such as the car horn, under surveillance.
Genuine security device alerts will be transmitted as an SMS to your smartphone via the cloud.
As these alerts can be sent from remote locations, this system will allow for prompt reporting to the authorities and help you limit any potential damage.
Besides, the built-in GPS can alert you of vehicle theft, and allow you to check the location of your stolen vehicle.

DRONE STATION

CARMATE is excited to present to you a more extensive application of the increasingly-popular drone technology. This “Drone Station” housing unit mounted onto a car allows for the immediate launch of a drone in a disaster rescue/relief situation or the purpose of data collection. A readily-assembled drone is stored in the housing unit, which functions as a remote regulator for an immediate drone launch. The housing unit is also equipped with a surveillance camera, night lighting, and a fan to regulate temperature and humidity to ensure the launch takes place as smoothly and as safely as possible.
Based on our decade-long experience of designing and developing roof carrier products, the Drone Station will be mounted safely and securely on your car roof, and with a shortened assembly time, provide you with solutions to your field drone operations.

This smartphone-operated, switchable fragrance diffuser will meet three primary user needs while on the road, namely providing “a favorite scent,” “deodorant,” and combating “drowsiness.” Switching it to “RELAX” fills the vehicle with your favorite aroma, “DEODORANT” removes any unwelcome odor in your car, and the minty-fresh aroma of “REFRESH” will make you feel more awake and alert. Chat with this intelligent bot on your LINE anytime, anywhere, to solve your questions regarding compatibility of all CARMATE product categories, after-sales support, or any concerns you may have before buying a CARMATE product.
Even though this AI chatbot is still in the development stage, it is getting smarter and smarter by machine learning, even right at this moment.

CAM SUPPORT

This is a camera system to detect obstacles around a car.
Using a conventional monocular camera, the real-time detection of obstacles has posed significant technical challenges. However, thanks to our proprietary engine system (image processing integrated circuit), live obstacle detection with a single-lens camera has been made possible. When an obstacle enters the viewing scope of the lens, a warning will be displayed on the monitor, and a buzzer will alert you at the same time.
For night detection, the system is equipped with a highly-sensitive sensor. Smooth image processing and detection sensitivity are achieved by increasing the frame rate to the maximum. The sensor range is between 50 cm and 3 m.
