Using its unique rubber technology, Sumitomo Rubber Industries, Ltd manufactures and sells tyres for automobiles, trucks, buses and motorcycles as core component of its global market in areas of sports and manufacturing industries.

In 1888, DUNLOP invented the world’s first air pumped tyres, which were remarkably innovative and ahead of its time. In 2017, DUNLOP has proposed the “SMART TYRE CONCEPT” which aims to realize technologies and specifications required for future mobilities. Currently, DUNLOP is working to bring its proposed technologies to life by latter part of 2020. Adding on to its default “long-lasting and fuel efficient” abilities, DUNLOP’s tyres will further improve to meet our customer’s specific needs such as increased steering stability, performance on icy surfaces and even modifications to allow for a smoother driving experience.
