■ What is the“ FIA Gran Turismo Championships”?
First started in 2018, the FIA Gran Turismo Championships began as a collaboration between the FIA (Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile) and Gran Turismo to create a new type of motorsport. Countries and territories compete against one another in the “Nations Cup” and manufacturers compete for the winning seat in the “Manufacturer Series.”
The 2019 Championships will be held in three different styles, including the “Online Series,” the “World Tour,” and “World Finals.” “World Tour” will be a battle-style event held across the world, and players with the highest rankings will come together for the “Online Series” to compete against one another.
The results for the “World Tour” will be the selection criteria for the advancement to the “World Finals.”
